Mumbai:
Arbaaz Khan is on a gifting spree. He's now gifting wife Malaika Arora an all-expense-paid holiday in Koh Samui in Thailand, along with her family and friends. And no Salman Khan won't tag along.
After Dabangg was declared a hit, the producer first gifted brother Salman Khan a Range Rover and director Abhinav Kashyap an SUV (sports utility vehicle).
Says Malaika, "It's sweet and thoughtful of Arbaaz to gift me a vacation on my birthday (October 23) for my friends and family (her parents and sister Amrita Arora Ladhak and Amu's husband Shakeel will accompany them).
Initially, it was supposed to be just him, our son Arhaan and me, but our close friend Vikram Phadnis's birthday also falls on my birthday so we decided to celebrate it together. There will be 17 of us and it will be a four-day holiday."
Apart from spending time at an in-house spa, Malaika is looking forward to spending some quality family time and participating in water sports.
"I love water sports. I am a very adventurous gal who does everything from deep sea diving to bungee jumping and jet skiing."
Arbaaz is so excited that he has even bought an expensive camera for it. Apparently, Malaika's friends and he have something special planned for her.
"We are staying at the Four Seasons resort at the Thai tourist spot. Nobody is telling me anything it's all very hush-hush. The exciting bit is that we will all be travelling together tomorrow.
Dabangg has done great business and now, there's this holiday. I couldn't have asked for more. My only wish is that we start our next film soon and come up with something fantastic again!" gushes the Munni girl.
The couple will then travel to New York. "We go there every year for Diwali," she concludes.
