Mohit had stated that the misunderstanding between the two was because of Udita's reluctance to understand his passion for filmmaking.
Mumbai:
Actress Udita Goswami and director Mohit Suri started dating in 2005 and after three and a half years, their break-up made headlines. However we hear that things have got better between the actress and the filmmaker.
The couple met during the making of Zeher where Mohit was director Anurag Basu's discovery while Udita was Pooja Bhatt's. Mohit apparently completed the shooting of Tumsa Nahii Dekha at the time when Anurag was down with cancer. A source says, "There was news that the couple would get married if Mohit's Crook was a hit. However, Udita later moved to LA while there was a buzz about Mohit's affair with Kangana Ranaut, which he vehemently denied."
In his defense, Mohit had stated that the misunderstanding between the two was because of Udita's reluctance to understand his passion for filmmaking. He also confirmed that Udita's move to US and long-distance relationships did not work for him and also, that he would look for a companion after he finishes Murder 2.
While Mohit's number was not reachable, Udita remained unavailable for comment. But a close source to the couple confirmed that they are indeed getting hitched. Furthermore, director Mahesh Bhatt confirmed the news saying, "Ji haan Mohit aur Udita shadi kar rahe hain aur ye sahi baat hai."We wonder if the delay in making Mohit's upcoming sequel to Aashiqui has let the romance between him and Udita bloom again! Bhatt quips, "Marriage, divorce, death, nothing affects a movie. Every movie takes it own time to be made and released."
