Wasn't it in June when Arjun Kapoor was asked, rather instructed, by his grandmother to get married? Now, in an interview with a print edition of Hindustan Times, Arjun Kapoor was asked about his wedding plans when he said his turn will come only after Rhea and Anshula Kapoor are married. Anushula and Arjun are Boney Kapoor's children with his first wife Mona Shourie while Rhea - Sonam Kapoor's sister - is Arjun's cousin. During an interview for HT Cafe, Arjun said: "I'll get married when Rhea and Anshula do. It could take two, four or even six years, I don't know."
While Sonam Kapoor got married to Delhi-based entrepreneur Anand Ahuja in May, Rhea Kapoor, who is a filmmaker, is rumoured to be dating Karan Boolani, who is also part of the film circle. While there has been no reports about Anshula joining films, Arjun's another sister Janhvi just made her Bollywood debut with Dhadak. Janhvi and Khushi are Boney Kapoor's children with Sridevi. Boney Kapoor has often revealed that the sudden death of Sridevi in February has brought his four children closer to each other. He recently told PTI: "The way they have accepted Janhvi and Khushi... That has made me feel very relieved. My all four children are my strength."
Meanwhile, Arjun celebrated his 33rd birthday in June, when he was given a diktat of sorts by his grandmother Nirmal Kapoor in the garb of a wedding gift. On his birthday, she sent an envelope to Arjun with a message that read: "To Arjun Kapoor, with love daadi. Jaldi shaadi karo." Aww.
Arjun Kapoor was rumoured to be dating actress Malaika Arora, reports of which have been indirectly dismissed by the actor several times. On the work front, Arjun Kapoor will next be seen in Namaste England. He also has films like Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar, Panipat and India's Most Wanted in the pipeline.
