Arjun Rampal said that when physicality is important while doing a true story.

It's been a while since we've seen actor Arjun Rampal on the big screen and if you've noticed a difference in how the actor looks you're not the only one. But it seems that Arjun's gaunter frame could be for portraying gangster Arun Gawli.
Arjun will be playing the role of Gawli in the film Daddy and about his transformation says, "Arun Gawli was a thin guy. I have to lose a lot more weight to play his character. But then Love Affair is happening before that so I had to gain a bit more of weight. Post that I'll go back on a diet. Especially when you're doing a true story and you want to do it correctly, you have to match the physicality of it as well."
Love Affairs will be directed by Soni Razdan and will be a period film inspired by the Nanavati case. Rumour had it that Soni's daughter, actress Alia Bhatt was also going to turn Arjun's co-star in Rock On 2 , but Arjun stays away from all the speculation that surrounds the project.
"Rock On 2 is happening. It will happen in August. It is better if Ritesh (Sidhwani) and Farhan (Akhtar) talk about the cast as they are the producers. That's not my space. But yes, it's a very interesting and exciting project and we all are gearing up to get into that."
Yes in spite of a tough 2014 on the personal front, it looks like Arjun is ready to 'rock on' at least professionally once again.
