Mumbai:
Arshad Warsi seems to be pushing his limits as an actor. Not known for portraying full-fledged action roles, the actor is keen on defying stereotypes. For a risky sequence with Soha Ali Khan in their upcoming comedy film, he even went ahead and asked the production team to not provide the safety harness.
Working in a film for the first time, which involves a lot of action scenes, Arshad surprised everyone on the sets.
A source from the unit says, "It was quite a dangerous shot with Arshad suspended by the cable. Although the director insisted on a body double, both the actors refused. Arshad said he'll catch her in time and seeing his spirit, Soha was adamant about doing the stunt all by herself, without any safety harness in place."
Commenting on the 'gravity-defying' stunts, producer Bholaram Malviya says, "It was scary on the sets. We tried explaining to Arshad that it's a high-octane stunt. Luckily it was okayed in one take itself."
