Mumbai:
Legendary singer Asha Bhosle has filed a complaint with the police against veteran actress Sadhna for encroaching and trespassing her Khar bungalow.
Sadhna, who is a tenant in Asha Bhosle's Khar bungalow, has been embroiled in a defamation case against builder Yusuf Lakdawala who she claims has been threatening her.
Sadhana had in August 2010 lodged a complaint with the Santa Cruz Police accusing Lakdawala of issuing death threats and trying to force her to vacate her 3000 sq ft house. Sadhana has lived in this house for over 50 years, as a tenant of Asha Bhosle.
Following the complaint, Lakdawala was arrested in November and let off on bail after a day.
In October 2011, Sadhna was arrested and later released on bail in connection with a defamation case filed by builder Yusuf Lakdawala.
Sadhna met Maharashtra Home Minister R R Patil last year for unbiased mediation in her property dispute.
Sadhna alleges she is being threatened by Lakdawala, who wants to evict her from the house she has been living as a tenant for decades (owned by Asha Bhosle). Both Sadhna and Lakdawala have filed petitions in court.
