Asha Bhosle Records 'Item Number'

Highlights

• Asha Bhosle has recorded an item song for the upcoming comedy film Neil Ko Pakadna, titled Yeh mera dil pyaar ka deewana.
• Singing her song from the Amitabh Bachchan starrer Don once again, this version of Yeh mera dil... will have a fresh flavour to it, to move with the times.
• Recorded at Krishna Studio at Goregaon in Mumbai on May 21, the veteran singer says, "After so many years, Chandra is directing a movie. I have got first song recorded for his film. I didn’t face any difficulty. It came on to my tongue so easily."
• Directed by Chandra Barot, the film has recently hit the floors, with no lead as to who will be acting in it.
• Barot, was the assistant director for the 1978 Don as well.
• He said, "Movies are either good or bad, they are not hit or flop. It is the public which makes the movie hit or flop. My endeavour would be to make a good movie so that a family could watch comfortably. Even after 30 years, songs like Khai Ke Paan Banareswala, Ye Mera Dil and Ye Mumbai Nagariya are big hits.
• The film will be produced by Barot's wife Deepa, and Nikhil will helm the music direction.
