Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle will be honoured by the Arya Vaidya Pharmacy as part of its one-year long Saptati celebrations (70 years), which begins here tomorrow (July 12, 2013).
Maharashtra Governor, K Sankaranarayanan will be the chief guest and honour Asha for her achievements in the music field, said Dr PR Krishnakumar, managing director of the pharmacy.
Planning commission member, Dr K Kasturirangan would deliver special address during the function, he added.
The celebrations will be for one year till July 2014, Krishnakumar further said.
