'Godfather' is a pretty apt epithet for the man who starred in iconic films such as Sholay and Amar Akbar Anthony and, indeed, shows no signs of slowing down.
Amitabh Bachchan wasn't the only celebrity Sadiq Khan took pictures with at the Ambani party. He also waxed eloquent about acting legend Shah Rukh Khan, cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar and British-born Katrina Kaif who he claimed as one of the UK's own.

There's only one 'Godfather' though.
As the pictures show, Alia Bhatt was also at the party. Sridevi and husband Boney Kapoor were also on the list, as were Karisma Kapoor, Karan Johar, Sidharth Malhotra and Neha Dhupia.

Sadiq Khan met actor Ranbir Kapoor earlier in the day at a football-related event.

Last year, Prince William and Kate Middleton were also treated to a parade of Bollywood royalty when they visited Mumbai on an official trip.
Amitabh Bachchan, seen last in Sarkar 3, is working on a couple of films at the moment - among them is Thugs Of Hindostan, which co-stars Katrina Kaif. Katrina has a film out in just a couple of weeks - Tiger Zinda Hai with Salman Khan releases on December 22. Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif are also currently making a movie together, in which SRK plays a dwarf.
