Audiences calling shots these days: Neha Dhupia
Mumbai: Bollywood is no longer restricted to romantic comedies or action dramas. There is scope for all kinds of cinema and this is possible because of the audiences, says Neha Dhupia.

"What's creating more dhoom is the audience. It's so nice these days that we can do any kind of film because the audience is not ready for stereotypes," said the 31-year-old actress.

"Whether you do a Delhi Belly, or a Dirty Picture or a Pappu Can't Dance Saala or Mission Impossible 4 - there is an audience for everything. The only thing that's causing dhoom in the industry is a good script, and then... the audience decides," she added.

Neha's new film Pappu Can't Dance Saala has just hit the screens.

Meanwhile, be it Vidya Balan or Kareena Kapoor - Bollywood's 30-plus actresses have been lately stealing the thunder.

Neha feels age is irrelevant when it comes to quality work.

"I think age has got nothing to do with it... Whether you're 20, 30 or 40. It all depends on the kind of cinema you are doing," said Neha at the Gillette Saluting Soldier event here.

Neha made her Bollywood debut with the action flick Qayamat: City Under Threat and later did a mix of commercial and off-beat films. She was last seen in Gandhi To Hitler.
