"I am doing a biopic and it's always interesting to be apart of such films. I always wanted to do a biopic. I am happythat I am doing a good mix of films at such an early stage ofmy career. Our scriptwriter is a Marathi and he gives me tipsto learn Marathi as it is really a difficult task for aPunjabi," Ayushmann told PTI in an interview.

The biopic, produced by Guneet Monga and directed bydebutante filmmaker Vibhu Puri, will go on floor early nextyear.

The 29-year-old actor, who was last seen in Rohan Sippy'sNautanki Saala, has also finished shooting his Yash Raj filmBewakoofiyan opposite Sonam Kapoor.

Ayushmann will be seen in six-pack-abs for the love-story.John Abraham's trainer Vinod Channa helped the actor get thechiselled look.

"Bewakoofiyan is a love-story set in the backdrop ofrecession. It was not difficult for me to don the six-packsbecause I am naturally thin but I had to go through rigoroustraining for some months.

"There are loads of pool shots in the film and for that Ihad to have a fit body. Sonam will also be seen in a bikinithis time," he said.

Ayushmann, who has sung in his previous films, refused todivulge whether he has lent his voice in Bewakoofiyan toobut he is happy that his latest Hindi-Punjabi single OHeeriye is being received well by the audience.

"It feels great. In fact, it was a challenge for us tomake this work because independent music doesn't have a marketin India. Most of the radio stations and music channels don'tsupport Indie music till now. The only platform is online anddigital," said Ayushmann, who took training in classical musicin his childhood days.

Ayushmann, however, is too busy with his acting career totake music forward."I am not that versatile as a singer. I am better as alyricist and composer. My voice suits a particular genre andthat is soft rock. I don't think I will be able to exploremuch with my voice but with my compositions and lyrics, I willdefinitely explore," he said.
