New Delhi:
Ayushmann Khurrana says he will not assist director Shoojit Sircar in Jaffna anymore due to paucity of time.
"After Vicky Donor, there was nothing, so I decided to assist him, but later I got Ramesh Sippy's next film, so I will not have the time to assist him," said Ayushmann.
Talking about how he started assisting Shoojit Sircar in the first place, the actor said: "Actually it started when one day I was late for Vicky Donor, so Shoojit made me the fourth assistant director who has to clap every time the shoot starts. I told him that I was enjoying it and he told me to start assisting him."
After the stupendous success of Sircar-directed Vicky Donor, VJ-turned-actor Ayushmann became a star.
When asked about his future projects, he said: "After this (Sippy's film), I will start Hamara Bajaj. I am reading a few scripts right now and I will sign one of them soon."
