Director Nitya Mehra, who makes her debut with
Baar Baar Dekho, said that her film is complex, but at the same time, a very simple and beautiful story about love and life.
Baar Baar Dekho stars Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles.
When Nitya was asked about the complex turn of events in the film, she said: "It is complex but that is what was so exciting about it. I wouldn't take out something that's so simple, otherwise that'd be boring. But also, we have just packaged it in an interesting way, but actually it is a very simple story."
"It is a beautiful story about love and life. It is very simple and sweet and very understandable. It's not like it is some sci-fi, time travel film at all. It is really about the small moments in life and if you don't pay attention, your life will pass by and not much will be left," she added.
