In a novelty of sorts for Bollywood, megastar Amitabh Bachchan and director Prakash Jha will take a while away from promoting their film Aarakshan to launch the promo of Rascals, starring Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt.
Come Thursday (August 11), Bachchan and Jha will unveil the first trailer of Rascals at a suburban multiplex in Mumbai, said a source.
Producer Sanjay Ahluwalia and Vinay Choksey too will be present at the event.
According to reports, Bachchan readily agreed to be a part of this promotional activity after a phone call from Sanjay, who is also producing the film, to be released on Dussehra (October 6).
Filmmaker David Dhawan, who is directing Rascals, is excited with this development as he has worked with Bachchan in movies like Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan and Hum Kisise Kum Nahin.
Jha, whose film Aarakshan releases Friday (August 12), was also more than happy to agree to unveil the first look of Ajay's new movie, the source added. Together, they have worked in films like Gangaajal and Raajneeti.
