Actor Varun Dhawan's risk-taking role in dark thriller Badlapur is paying rich dividends. The Sriram Raghavan-driected film opened on Friday to praise from critics, and has now cashed in at the box office collecting Rs 28.25 crores in India in three days. In Badlapur, Varun's character Raghu is an adman whose wife and son are killed in a bank heist and who then devotes himself on seeking revenge.
The cast of Badlapur includes Huma Qureshi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Yami Gautam and Divya Dutta in pivotal roles.
