Yash Raj Films' next venture,Band Baaja Baaraat is releasing on December 10 in cinemasworldwide, the production house said.
Directed by Maneesh Sharma, who was associate directorof Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, and produced by Aditya Chopra, thefilm stars newcomer Ranveer Singh along with Anushka Sharma.
The music has been composed by the talented duo, Salim- Sulaiman, a release said.
Ranveer is a fresher with no modelling or actingexperience and was selected after his very first audition,having impressed Aditya Chopra instantly, it said.
Anushka, after her dream debut in Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi,takes on this challenging role in her third film with YRF.
In the film, Shruti (Anushka) and Bittoo (Ranveer) arejust out of Delhi University. A chance meeting brings themtogether to reluctantly start a tumultuous entrepreneurialventure as Wedding Planners.
Their business enters the ups and downs of the lavishworld of the glamour and glitz of Delhi baaraats and weddingsthat tests their friendship over time.
