A still from the trailer of Banjo
New Delhi:
It's here. The makers of Banjo released the trailer of Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri's upcoming movie Banjo on Wednesday.
In the film, Riteish plays a musician and Nargis a DJ. The trailer shows the 37-year-old actor as a slum dweller with big dreams and introduces him as 'Banjo ke duniya ka Bachchan.' He looks like an unkempt musician with long unruly hair. Nargis travels to India to find Riteish and his band, and plans to show the world their talent.
The movie, shot in Mumbai, shows the heart of the city: its slums. The trailer beautifully expresses the life and excitement brimming within the small lanes of the city.
The film's trailer gives you a glimpse into the Banjo player's life and how his talents are recognized and challenged. Abhishek Bachchan provides the voice-over.
The trailer was tweeted by Riteish on Tuesday.
Riteish Deshmukh was last seen in the comedy Great Grand Masti and Nargis Fakhri's' last film was Housefull 3.
Directed by Ravi Jadhav, Banjo is scheduled to release on September 23.
