Bareilly Ki Barfi Song Nazm Nazm: A still from the song (courtesy YouTube)
New Delhi:
The Bareilly Ki Barfi - Kriti Sanon - is back. This time, in a new song titled Nazm Nazm featuring herself and just Ayushamann Khurrana. On Twitter, Kriti described the song as: "The sweetest song of Bareilly Ki Barfi." Meanwhile, Ayushmann, who also shared the song on Twitter, explained what the desi song is actually about: "Pet mein titliya lane wala pyar." Composed and sung by Arko, Nazm Nazm is the second Bareilly Ki Barfi song to be released after the desi party anthem Sweety Tera Drama, which was unveiled last week. However, expect no Rajkummar Rao in Nazm Nazm, who forms one-third of the love triangle.
We know from the trailer of Bareilly Ki Barfi that Bittu, played by Kriti, zeroes in an author named Pritam Vidrohi (Rajkummar Rao) as her soulmate. In the song, she can be seen writing letters to Pritam and entrusts Chirag Dubey (Ayushmann Khurrana) to send out her letters and hand the replies back to her. However, the exchange of letters is not really between Bittu and Pritam because Chirag, who appears to be in love with Kriti, is the one who actually writes them. Bittu doesn't know.

Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, Bareilly Ki Barfi is set in Uttar Pradesh. The trailer had earlier revealed that Chirag Dubey ultimately has not choice but to put the real Pritam Vidrohi in touch with Bitti - he devices a plan according to which Pritam is supposed to act as his wing-man but it backfires. Not only Bitti but her entire family grows fond of Pritam and Chirag is sort of side-lined.
What happens in the end? You will only get to know in theatres on August 18.
