Actor Christian Bale has risked thewrath of his fans after he was snapped cleaning his hands withsanitising gel after shaking hands with few at the Londonpremiere of The Dark Knight Rises.
The 38-year-old actor, who plays Batman in the latestinstallment of the Caped Crusader franchise, spent more thanan hour shaking hands with fans and signing autographs on thered carpet at the event in Leicester Square, reported Sunonline.
Despite happily interacting with the crowd, the Britishactor was spotted applying hand sanitiser into his palms assoon as he left the venue to get into his chauffeur-drivencar.
The photographer, who took the picture said, "It waspriceless. He's a fearless crime-fighter in the film but inreal life signing a few autographs was a gamble he wasn'twilling to take without some chemical protection afterwards."
