Rashmika Mandanna is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Goodbye. The intense family drama is slated to hit the theatres on October 7. Now, days ahead of the release, Rashmika has started a trend of sharing “real family” photos on Instagram. The actress has picked a postcard-worthy photo featuring herself, her sister Shiman and their parents Suman and Madan Mandanna. “This is my real family, and in three days you get to meet my reel family - The Goodbye Family,” the caption read. Rashmika has also nominated three of her friends to share their family pictures. “PS: Watch the film with your family,” the actress added, with a hashtag that read, “Family hai toh sab kuch hai.” Reacting to the post, Tamannaah Bhatia said, “Too cute” with a red heart emoji. Producer Ekta Kapoor has left a couple of red hearts under the post.

Goodbye also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta, Pavail Gulati, Sunil Grover and Elli AvrRam. It is helmed by Vikas Bahl. At the time of sharing the trailer, Rashmika Mandanna said that the film is “special” to her for many reasons. In the caption box, she added, “A part of our Goodbye baby is now yours... This one is special for so many reasons but for now, I hope you and your family like this.”
Earlier, Rashmika Mandanna dropped an appreciation post for her Goodbye co-star Amitabh Bachchan. Alongside a snap of herself and Big B, she wrote, “I still can't believe this is happening. Having done a film with sir, getting to talk to him, being able to share the same stage as him, talking about the same topics, getting to take a picture with him, my God! He is an absolutely brilliant performer…A gem of a person and always arguing with me as a reel papa... but my God - how grateful am I. I am grateful for having done Goodbye with Amitabh Bachchan sir. It's been an absolute honour and this will forever be super special.”
Goodbye is jointly bankrolled by Balaji Motion Pictures and Good Co.
