New York:
Pop star Beyonce and husband Jay Z are set to hold a fundraising dinner for President BarackObama here next week.
At USD 40,000 a head, the fundraiser is extremely exclusive and will be held at Jay Z's swanky Chelsea hotspot the 40/40 Club, reported New York Daily News online.
In a message urging supporters to contribute USD 25 to the President's re-election campaign (for the chance to win tickets to the soiree), Beyonce wrote, "I have had the honour of meeting President Obama and the First Lady a few times - and believe me - it is an opportunity you don't want to miss. We believe in his vision, share his belief that we are greater together and that is why we are getting involved."
This is not the first time that the couple have show support for the President.
In 2008, Beyonce Knowles famously serenaded the newly elected President at an Inaugural Ball, while Jay Z and pal Kanye West often show their support for Obama.
