R&B star Beyonce Knowles has silenced gossip mills by dismissing pregnancy rumours, but said that she would love to go the family way soon.
"It will be one day. Definitely one day. It's difficult because one day I will decide to have a child and I want people to be excited and they're gonna be like, 'Okay, whatever, she's been pregnant 25 times,'" said the 29-year-old star who is married to rapper
Jay-Z.
But the 'Single Ladies' hitmaker made it clear that right now her sole focus was on her career and that there were a lot of things that needed her attention before she could think of having a baby.
"I feel like there are certain things I wanted to do before I had a child so I can really, really focus on being a mother. And I'm getting closer to that point, but I mean I still am in such a great place in my career that I feel like I want to wait until I'm really, really ready."
