Music mogul Simon Cowell hasreportedly offered Beyonce Knowles a staggering USD 500million to be a judge on US X Factor for the next fiveseries as he looks for big names to improve the show.
Cowell, 52, is thought to be keen on acquiring theSingle Ladies hitmaker's services for five series as hesearches for a big name celebrity to replace axed formerjudges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul in order to improvethe Fox show's ratings, reported Entertainment Weeklymagazine.
"He wants a big name female star on the panel. MariahCarey is good, but she's not that hot today. He wants Beyonce because that would immediately give him the bounce needed tobeat American Idol," a source said.
Meanwhile, American Idol judge Randy Jackson thinks Careywould be an "amazing" US X Factor judge and he hasn't ruledout the possibility of her joining the show.
