Mumbai:
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who has worked free of cost in make-up man Deepak Sawant's Bhojpuri film Ganga Devi, says regional films have limited releases and they need support.
The 69-year-old actor will be seen sharing the screen space with wife Jaya Bachchan in the film after a decade.
"Deepak Sawant has been with me for 35 years and never ever missed a single day.. Started with humble beginnings and has produced three films with me in them... This one has Jaya too. But despite that has reported each day as my makeup man even in the middle of his production activities... Quite something!! Such individuals and the Bhojpuri films, that have limited releases only in the state of Bihar, need all the encouragement and so they do... I work for him and never charge, it's not a monetary matter for me... His contribution is greater than my fee," he wrote on his blog.
Big B plays a cameo in the film, expected to be released on June 3 which is Amitabh Bachchan's wedding anniversary.
