Renowned Bhojpuri singerBaleshwar Yadav passed away today after a brief illness. Hewas 68.
Yadav, who was undergoing treatment at Shyama PrasadMukherjee hospital in the state capital passed away thismorning, family sources said here.
Yadav, who popularised Bhojpuri folk music in thecountry and abroad, was felicitated with the Yash Bharatiaward by the state government.
His last rites will be performed at Baikunth Dhamcremation ground tomorrow.
