Mumbai:
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who was taking time off from work following surgeries, recently faced the camera after a long gap for the promo shoot of the forthcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 5 and says he felt "strange".
The 69-year-old will host the opening ceremony of IPL 5 to be held in Chennai on April 3.
"So back in front of the cameras for the promo shoot of IPL ... a bit strange, but never too strange ... a spring in the step and mind," Amitabh tweeted.
"Familiar surroundings, vanity van, ever faithful Deepak (Sawant) my make up, lights, cameras, busy assistants, hushed silences and 'action'," he further posted.
The IPL 5 matches start April 4, a day after the opening ceremony, and the final is scheduled to take place on May 27.
Along with Big B, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor, Prabhudeva, Priyanka Chopra, Salman Khan and international singer Katy Perry will add star power at the opening night.
