Big B condoles Shammi Kapoor's death
Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has condoled demise of veteran actor Shammi Kapoor as the "Joie de vivre of the industry is lost".

The 79-year-old actor passed away at Breach Candy Hospital here today morning due to chronic renal failure.

"Shammi Kapoor ji passed away this morning at 5:15 am ..Rushing there now .. the flamboyance and joie de vivre of the Industry lost!," Bachchan said on a micro-blogging sitetwitter.

"An entire life full of optimism and happy spirit, caring loving to all ... Now suddenly silent," he said.

Kapoor debuted in Bollywood in 1953 with Jeevan Jyoti and went on to deliver hits like Dil Deke Dekho, Junglee, Professor, China Town, Kashmir Ki Kali, Teesri Manzil, An Evening in Paris, Bramhachari and Vidhaata among others.
