Megastar Amitabh Bachchan today said the film industry was one of the strongest examples of national integration and hoped that peace prevails after the Ayodhya verdict, slated to be pronounced on September 24.
"We play characters from different faiths, even though we may not in reality belong to it. There has always been an unwritten law within us that has kept us integrated, together and transparent.
"And we can never think of any other, than the deep desire that peace and well-being prevails after the court verdict on Ayodhya on September 24," he wrote on his blog.
Big B said he is always asked if secular and integrated nature of the industry is affected and differences within communities come up when reactions become violent and separatist.
"No, they most certainly do not! We take pride in the construct and intent of the fraternity," said the 67-year-old actor wrote.
