Bigg Boss 10:: Rohan Mehra in a still from the show
New Delhi:
Rules must be followed, says Bigg Boss and a captain who is not able to reinforce Bigg Boss words shall be removed. That's exactly what happened on Bigg Boss 10, November 29 episode. Rohan Mehra, whom Bigg Boss had praised after the Gold Mine task, was expelled from the position after he failed to make the housemates implement Bigg Boss' rules. The contestants conversed in English (which is banned), dozed off during the day and roamed around in areas where they were denied access but the Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor was unable to monitor and rescues the situation which upset Bigg Boss. And last night, everyone learnt that you don't mess with Bigg Boss.
Rahul Dev and VJ Bani, for example, were shifted to the challenger's room but they were up and about the place. In addition, Gaurav Chopra, who should not have entered the area, was spotted chatting with Bani. Bigg Boss then had a one-on-one conversation with Rohan and asked him to be vigilant. Later, Rahul flouted another rule when he dozed off in the middle of the day and the alarm buzzed. All this while, Rohan was busy with his own stuff and did not pay attention to the rules being broken. Bigg Boss called Rohan to the confession room again, where the latter said that he doesn't have enough power to command the contestants.
After this, Bigg Boss gathered all the housemates and announced that a captain is meant to work in whatever capacity Bigg Boss has given and not demand more powers. In addition, Rohan was reminded that captains are excluded from household chores so that they can manage the others without distraction and because Rohan failed on both accounts his captaincy was terminated.
Bigg Boss was clearly upset with Rohan and banned him from further captaincy tasks, effectively disqualifying him from becoming captain again in this season. Hell hath no fury like Bigg Boss scorned!
Bigg Boss is currently hosting 14 contestants - Swami Om (who has had a makeover), Nitibha Kaul, Gaurav Chopra, Monalisa, Manveer Gurjar, Manu Punjabi, Priyanka Jagga, Rohan Mehra, Sahil Anand and Lopamudra Raut - who are safe from this week's elimination process - and VJ Bani, Rahul Dev, Jason Shah and Elena Kazan, who are nominated for the elimination process.
