Bigg Boss 11 on October 18 started on a great note for Puneesh Sharma and team as they savoured every second Vikas Gupta spent in jail. But a new day meant new challenges - it was time for Team Vikas Gupta to take revenge on the opposing team in the luxury budget task. With Vikas in the kaal kothri, Hina Khan took charge of the operations and built a strong strategy - they were to scare the contestants first and then attack! Under Hina's guidance, Vikas' teammates particularly concentrated on Aakash Dadlani and Puneesh Sharma, who had mercilessly smudged dirt and cow-dung on others' faces previously.
Puneesh, who is also the working captain of the house, gives up after a torturous session of enduring ice water, cow dung and insects - the housemates applauded Puneesh's efforts. The task ended with Bigg Boss announcing the winning team - Team Vikas Gupta. Puneesh's team could only last for 28 minutes while the other team held their position in the game for much longer. The winning team selected Arshi Khan and Jyoti Kumari to join Vikas in the kaal kothri.
At another time of the day, Shilpa Shinde and Vikas were spotted having a heart-to-theart conversation, during when Vikas apologised to his colleague in the most adorable way. Could this be the beginning of a brand new friendship? Only time will tell.
Also, Luv Tyagi and Aakash participate in a massive war or words, which stopped short of turning into a physical fight as the other housemates intervened in time.
Curtains were drawn on the 17th day in the Bigg Boss house with Diwali celebrations - Bigg Boss sent mithai ked abbe while Sabyasachi baked an apple pie on request. However, the mood of the house grew tense once again as Vikas, Arshi and Jyoti tried to pull a prank - they sneaked out of the kaal kothri in search of sweets!
