Actress Shilpa Shinde, who featured in headlines after she quit TV show Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai and accused the producers for mentally harassing her, is back in trends list for her ugly verbal spats with contestants of Bigg Boss 11, in which she is currently participating. Her number #1 opponent is Vikas Gupta, one of the producers of Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai, whom Shilpa had accused. Normally, Bigg Boss contestants initiate a squabble a few days into the show but not Shilpa and Vikas. The Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai alumni fought even before they entered Bigg Boss at the grand premiere in front of host Salman Khan. On the grand premiere, Shilpa was so engrossed in her shouting match with Vikas that he failed to notice Salman even tried to side with her.
But will Salman Khan still support Shilpa Shinde in the Weekend Ka Vaar episode? Shilpa Shinde is one of the five contestants, who have been nominated for first week's elimination. From the last season of the controversial reality show, we know that Salman Khan doesn't appreciate contestants getting personal with each other. He was upset (for most part of Bigg Boss 10) with Swami Om and Priyanka Jagga for hurling abuses at housemates' family members. Well,S Shinde did something similar in Wednesday night's episode. She abused Vikas Gupta's mother and despite being told by all the other contestants (except Arshi Khan) to apologise, Shilpa did not relent.
In sheer frustration, Vikas Gupta decided to bang utensils around Shilpa disturbing her sleep. Hina Khan also joined Vikas and together they also chanted "shame, shame" - we don't know if they were inspired by Septa Unella of Game of Thrones. And this is not the first time, Shilpa Shinde made personal comments about Vikas Gupta. In the initial episodes, Shilpa allegedly passed offensive comments about Vikas Gupta's sexual orientation.
Vikas Gupta is not the only one upset with Shilpa Shinde's attitude. In Thursday night's episode she picked a fight more than once with Hina Khan. In fact, by the end of the episode it was clear that Shilpa only has one friend in the house - Arshi Khan.
Being ostracized among the housemates is not Shilpa's only problem at the moment (but it is a significant issue). Shilpa withdrew from the first luxury budget task without even trying - the same task was completed by Hiten Tejwani and Vikas Gupta in seconds. Shilpa abysmal performances are like anti-brownie points, which may make her unpopular even with Salman Khan.
Before Bigg Boss 11 started, Salamn Khan told news agency PTI that people who misbahevd never got work from the industry. "Most of the people who have not been very well behaved in the Bigg Boss house have got no work at all. But people who have shown maturity, dignity, class, poise and some substance, they have always got work," he said.
Shilpa Shinde failed to earn the respect of her co-contestants and perform the task set by Bigg Boss, which make her a worthy contestant of Bigg Boss' Kalkathri. Will Shilpa inaugurate Bigg Boss' jail tonight?
