Miley Cyrus got her big showbizbreak with the Disney TV show 'Hannah Montana', but thepopstar's father has blamed the superhit series for"destroying" his daughter.
Billy Ray, himself a 80's country star, blamed Miley'shandlers for her troubles, including naked pics online and adrug scandal, saying that it all began with the Disney show,reported a website.
"The damn show destroyed my family. I hate to say it,but I'd take it back in a second," said the 50-year-old whohimself starred in the hit show.
The 'Achy Breaky' hitmaker said that his daughter'shandlers go too far to promote her, and then use him as thescapegoat, when things go wrong.
"Every time the train went off the track, her people,or as they say in today's news, her handlers, every timethey'd put the blame on me. I took it because I'm her daddy,"he said.
Billy Ray now says that he is scared by the antics ofhis 18-year-old daughter and thinks that she is going offtracks.
"I'm scared for her. She's got a lot of people aroundher that's putting her in a great deal of danger. I want toget her sheltered from the storm," he said adding that when heconfronted one of her handlers, "they told me it was none ofmy business."
