Bipasha Basu was in Delhi to promote her scary movie Raaz 3
New Delhi:
Dressed in a beige flowing kurta and a churidar with a hint of gold, the only colour on the svelte and sexy Bipasha Basu was the red bindi. The actress was in Delhi to promote her scary movie Raaz 3 along with co-stars Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta.
The actress said it's the darkest role she has ever played and no character could get darker than this.
Playing Shania, a top actress faces the home truth of fading popularity as a younger and prettier actress takes her position, Bipasha agreed that its an insecurity every star has to deal with, but how you handle it, is what makes the difference and also added that every face hides a story.
The actress admitted playing a character like Shania distressed her to no end and she hopes to do a comedy soon.
On the other hand, co-star Emraan basking in the critical acclaim of his last film, Shanghai, said, "I have a loyal audience who like me doing certain roles, translated as the passionate romantic lover on screen and Raaz 3 is another one of those - an erotic horror film."
And though the horror genre caters to a niche audience, both Bipasha and Emraan called Raaz 3 a champagne horror film which goes beyond the typical scary films, but has a love story weaved into it and of course, its USP is that it's shot in 3D.
As Emraan maintains his serial kisser tag, lets see whether the audience will kiss and tell when the film hit theatres.
