The 67th annual DGA Awards ceremony, hosted by Jane Lynch, took place in Los Angeles Saturday, reports variety.com.
Mr Inarritu defeated Richard Linklater (Boyhood), Clint Eastwood (American Sniper), Morten Tydlum (The Imitation Game) and Wes Anderson (The Grand Budapest Hotel).
For the Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Variety/Talk/News/Sports - Regularly Scheduled Programming, Dave Diomedi won the award for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon - Episode 1.

Anthony Sacco won the Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Reality Programs for "The Test" episode of The Chair.
