Ali Ali, the promotional song from Karan Kapadia's debut film Blank featuring Akshay Kumar, dropped on the Internet on Thursday, a week before the film's release. Karan Kapdia, nephew of actress Dimple Kapadia, also features in the song, which may be a part of the film's end credits scene. Ali Ali is written by Adeip Singh and Arko, who also sang song with B Praak. Earlier, Karan Kapadia said that the song Ali Ali was not a part of the filmmaker's plan for the movie. Karan said: "He (Akshay Kumar) was really proud of what I had done and said this was his way of wishing me luck. We never saw it coming," reported news agency PTI.

In Blank, Karan Kapadia plays the role of Hanif, an alleged suicide bomber, who loses his memory after an accident. Hanif was arrested by SS Dewan (played by actor Sunny Deol), a cop tasked with interrogating Hanif about terrorist activities.
Speaking about the benefits of having Sunny Deol on board, Karan Kapadia told PTI: "When I signed the film in 2016, Sunny sir was not a part of it at that time. It was a small film then. Now it has become a big film due to Sunny sir and Akshay sir. It is incredible. I had never imagined it this way."
