Personalities like Priyanka Chopra, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar, Shekhar Kapur, Anil Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha sent out their prayers and condolences to the victims on Twitter, while calling it a day of "sadness".
Many celebrities used the hashtag '#ParisAttack', which has been trending on Twitter since Saturday morning, to share their comments on the microblogging site.
