Bollywood Says 'Happy Mother's Day!'

New Delhi: Mothers have always played a pivotal role in almost every Hindi film, right from Mother India to Dabangg, and Bollywood stars have gone all out to express their love for their real-life moms this Mothers Day.

Aamir Khan, who returned to Facebook after a long break, wrote on his page, "A very happy Mother's Day to all, especially the mothers."

"Happy Mothers day to all the mothers out there and a special one to my very own Mother India :-) love u mommy ... Muaaah !" wrote Preity Zinta on Twitter.

"To the adorable Mothers all over the World #happymothersday. No man, no son, no daughter could live without the love (sic)," Akshay Kumar posted.

Actor R Madhvan tweeted, "Happy Mothers to you all.. Pls give all your dear Mothers my love and a big warm hug for me."

Shahid Kapoor posted a black and white photo from his childhood, writing, "Wishing u all a happy mothers day... The purest bond possible! Love u mom."

Neil Nitin Mukesh and Shriya Saran too posted photos of their mothers on Twitter.

"To mine, and all the mommies in the world, may today and all ur days be filled with unconditional love!" wrote Lara Dutta.

Bipasha Basu wrote, "My Mother! Superwoman! Paying respect to the most selfless person in our lives, Mothers! Everyday not just today !"

"Maa tujhe Salaam," tweeted Riteish Deshmukh, while Anupam Kher dedicated his show today at the Tata theatre to his mother.

Dia Mirza wrote, "Happy Mothers Day ma! Every time I think of all that my mother is and does I wonder if I'll ever make a mother as good as her... My Mommy is the best."

Actors Vivek Oberoi, Ranvir Shorey, Gul Panag and singer Sunidhi Chauhan too wished 'Happy Mothers Day'.
