Leading Bollywood stars of yesteryears Vinod Khanna, Asha Parekh, Poonam Dhillon and Shabana Azmi today participated in the centenary celebrations of a hotel here where several Hindi blockbusters were shot during 1980s.
Sunanda Pushkar, wife of senior Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, was also accompanying the actors who were invited by the leading hotel chain Lalit Grand.
The movies shot in the sprawling lawns of the property, which was formerly a Palace located on the banks of Dal Lake, included Kashmir Ki Kali, Kabhi Kabhi, Kalia, Khoon Bhari Maang and Laawaris.
Immediately on their arrival, the stars paid obeisance at a temple in high security Sonawar area and later enjoyed a shikara ride in the Dal Lake.
