Nobody says no to Queen of Chat Oprah Winfrey - not unless you're the most famous rock star in the world. The U2 frontman declined Oprah's offer of a TV show of his own on her new network, reports contactmusic.com.
Oprah, currently in the last season of The Oprah Winfrey Show on American network ABC, has recruited an all star lineup for the new OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. Jim Carrey's ex Jenny McCarthy will host her own talk show, as will comedienne Rosie O'Donnell and father-daughter team, Ryan and Tatum O'Neal.
Hollywood heavyweights Julia Roberts, Goldie Hawn and Forrest Whitaker have also been approached by Oprah to develop their own documentaries for OWN but there is no word yet on whether they have accepted the O offer.
