U2 frontman Bono says his band is onthe verge of becoming irrelevant.
The 53-year-old singer and the other bandmembers TheEdge, Adam Clayton and Larry Mullen are currently working ontheir untitled 13th studio album, reported Contactmusic.
"We're on the verge of irrelevance. You have to makestuff relevant to you and where you're at, make an honestaccount of what you're going through. If that's relevant toother people, great. But we don't know," Bono said during ashow.
The singer said the band's upcoming album is inspiredfrom their early days.
"We went back to why we wanted to be in a band in thefirst place. We were listening to the Ramones and Kraftwerk -you can hear both on Invisible. It opened up a whole valvefor me," he said.
