Hollywood star Brad Pitt hasreportedly sent ex-wife Jennifer Aniston his congratulationson hearing the news of her engagement to actor-director JustinTheroux.
The 48-year-old actor called Jennifer Aniston, with whom he splitin 2005, to say how pleased he was to hear the news, reportedDaily Mirror online.
Theroux proposed the former Friends star at his 41stbirthday dinner.
"Brad gave Jen a quick call to say how pleased he was tohear that she was getting married. He jokingly asked if heshould 'save the date', and they both laughed, but told her inall seriousness that he was really happy for her and Justin,"a source said.
"He wished her luck and told her he hopes they're veryhappy together," it added.
Pitt is also set to marry his partner Angelina Jolie, whohe started dating shortly after splitting from Aniston, in thecoming weeks and she also wished him well.
"Brad and Angelina are due to marry in the next few weeksand she (Aniston) wished him all the best for his wedding,too," the source said.
Although Aniston, 43, and Pitt don't speak too often, hismother Jane may still get an invite to her wedding, as theyremained friends after the separation.
"Brad and Jen don't get in touch that often as they'veboth moved on with their lives. Jen does still chat to hismum, Jane, so there are rumours in Hollywood that she willmake an appearance at the wedding. But the guest list hasn'teven been started yet, so it's too early to say for sure," thesource added.
