Bradley Cooper and Leonardo DiCaprio are now close showbiz friends
London:
Hollywood hunk Bradley Cooper usedto be jealous of Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio.
The 37-year-old Silver Linings Playbook actor had amemorable encounter with the Hollywood A-lister when he workedas a hotel doorman and felt worlds apart from the star, who isnow a close showbiz friend, reported Showbizspy.
"I worked as a doorman all through grad school. Iremember taking Leonardo DiCaprio up to his room, and I was inthe elevator with him and, like, seven of his friends. It wasaround the time of Titanic," Cooper said.
"And I remember this guy who looked like a kid, eventhough we were about the same age, he looked like a littleboy. I remember thinking how I was three feet away from thisguy, and we were worlds apart," he added.
Despite achieving worldwide success thanks to TheHangover, the actor cannot believe he has so many famousfaces on speed dial and is still in awe of his co-star RobertDe Niro.
"To this day, I can't believe I'm friends with him. He'sinfectious. You know when you're with some of your friends andyou just start to act like them? That's what he's like. Whenyou're with him, you find yourself just starting to adopt someof those mannerisms through osmosis. I draw the line at goingto get a Mohawk, though," Cooper said.
