Mumbai:
Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone's real life friendship is reflected in their sizzling chemistry in their upcoming film Break ke Baad, sources close to the film said.
According to the sources, the two actors became friends while shooting for the movie, which released on Friday.
"The two are supposed to be thick friends. Imran really cares about Deepika. In fact, recently, when Imran and Deepika were supposed to travel to Dubai together, Deepika was stuck in a bad traffic snarl and could not make it on time to the airport.
So Imran took charge of the situation and decided to make things easier for his buddy. Imran checked in Deepika's baggage for her, and made sure that Deepika gets a comfortable and good seat," sources revealed.
While Imran and Deepika were travelling to UK on a sponsored trip, Imran decided to brief Deepika about the sponsors, and their schedule, in UK.
"Deepika is lucky to have such a sweet friend. As is their chemistry in their new upcoming film. 'Break Ke Baad' is grabbing a lot of attention. It is a young, fresh, romantic, comedy film," the sources said.
According to debutant director Danish Aslam, Break ke Baad talks about breaks in a relationship, which is a relatively new phenomena, is however, well known to the young generation, who also completely understand complicated relationships.
