A still from the film UNindian
New Delhi:
Cricketer-turned-actor Brett Lee is all set to woo Indian audiences with his debut film UNindian, which has finally got a release date -August 5.
The film's Twitter page announced the news:
It seems the film, which released in Australia in October last year, had trouble finding distributors in India. The film's director Anupam Sharma tweeted this earlier.
But all is well that ends well, as you will soon see Mr Lee showing off his acting skills with actress Tannishtha Chatterjee. The film is a romantic comedy about Meera, an Indian origin woman settled in Sydney who falls in love with an Australian man, Will, which is considered 'unindian.'
