Los Angeles:
The Toxic hitmaker is a hit with her fellow X Factor judges Demi Lovato, L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell because they tend to agree with her comments on auditionees.
Record producer L.A. Reid, 56, gushed: "We tend to agree with Britney more than others. She has amazing taste."
However, Britney - who has reportedly caused concern for producers having walked off set unannounced on more than one occasion - admits she doesn't like it when the rest of the panel don't share her views.
She told her fellow judges: "You ganged up on me one time, though. It wasn't nice."
With Simon off sick with bronchitis, Britney is stepping in as the panel's harshest critic, and she was left disappointed with the auditions so far after hearing what Austin and Kansas City had to offer.
The 30-year-old blonde told X Factor crew members: "Potential... serious potential. But not quite X Factor."
Speaking about the Kansas auditions, she added: "I feel like we've had... some bizarre performances overall... Pretty, pretty bad.
Simon has been temporarily replaced by Irish boy band manager and X Factor UK judge Louis Walsh, who is proving a hit with the Hold It Against Me star.
She revealed to 'Access Hollywood': "He's a champ."
Louis modestly chimed in: "Britney likes me and Demi likes me."
