Los Angeles:
After two years, pop princess Britney Spears is set to put out a new album which could even feature Robbie Williams.
The 28 year-old singer is working on brand new material according to producer Rodney Darkchild Jerkins, Aceshowbiz online reported."Britney fans are gonna be so happy in a few weeks,"Darkchild said.
There had been rumours of a new album in the works earlier this year, but then the only song to emerge was a leaked demo version of Lady Gaga's song Telephone, which Spears had recorded for an earlier album.
It looks like Spears' mixing it up this time too. She appears to be co-writing and performing with some new people. Reggae artist Predator Dub Assassins tweeted last month, "Co -Writing on a track for Britney Spears ft Akon. What is gonna happen next?"
In May, during a Twitter chat with fans, Spears was asked what artists she wanted to work with. She said, "Would love to do a duet with Robbie Williams... where are you?"
She's working with Danja, the same songwriter who produced her 2007 hit 'Gimme More'.
"We're getting things together," he said."I'm definitely gonna do my part and try to make it hard-hitting, uptempo, high-energy. That's what I think we need and that's what I'm gonna shoot for," Danja said.
