Brooke Mueller, ex-wife of troubled star Charlie Sheen, has reportedly been instructed by medical professionals to enter a rehabilitation facility for at least nine months.
The 34-year-old reality TV star, who was arrested and charged with assault and intent to distribute drugs after being found in possession of cocaine on December 2, has been asked to spend some time inside a rehabilitation facility,Femalefirst reported.
"Brooke has done rehab on her terms in the past. 30 days isn't enough for an addict like Brooke. She is calling the shots, and not listening to her family, or medical professionals that are telling her she needs to be at an in-patient facility for at least nine months, and not as a day patient, as she has done in the past.
"Anything less than nine months is a disservice to Brooke, and frankly, is a total waste," a source said.
However, Mueller, who shares custody of her two-year-old twins, Bob and Max, with troubled star Charlie Sheen, is saidto be reluctant to enter rehab because she doesn't want to be away from her sons.
