The past week has kept Salman Khan fans on tenterhooks with considerable speculation on the Dabangg star's health.

Some reports even suggested that the actor had an angiography and a spinal malady.

While the rumours regarding the Bollywood beefcake's health has been endemic for some time now, he has refrained from speaking about it to the media.

However, the actor's brother, Sohail Khan has denied all such reports. Sohail confirmed that a nerve has been troubling Salman for a couple of months now and the actor would be taking it easy professionally in the near future.

"It's just a nerve that has been troubling him for a couple of months now. He got some tests done to get it diagnosed. That's it. Nothing more," he revealed.

Salman is consulting with doctors to get the problem rectified.

"Now that the problem has been identified, he has been taking medical advice. We're in the process of finding out the best way to treat the problem. Insha Allah, all should be fine," Sohail Khan said.

The superstar, however, has decided to slow down on the professional front and his earlier decision to do multiple projects simultaneously has now been put to rest.

"Lately, Salman has been shooting for his home production Bodyguard and for Yashraj Films' Ek Tha Tiger simultaneously," a source said.

He has informed his brothers Sohail and Arbaaz that he would be shooting their films Sher Khan and Dabangg 2 respectively next year only.

Producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Shirish Kunder have also been told by the star that their upcoming film Kick will start only at the beginning of next year. For the rest of this year, Salman will only focus on Ek Tha Tiger."

Sohail Khan confirmed this news saying that his brother will now have a new one-film-at-a-time policy. He says, "My movie Sher Khan will now start early next year after Yashraj. Now he'll do one film at a time, (it is) better that way."

Shirish Kunder, in the meantime, has dropped the idea of roping in the star in a cameo for his film Joker.

He confirmed the news saying, "I understand he has a very busy schedule, so I don't want to bother him. Salman and I are working together in Kick. We will save up the excitement for that project."
