This is probably the closest fans are going to get to the social media-averse Ranbir Kapoor on Twitter. His actor father Rishi Kapoor's latest tweet features a photograph from way back when - possibly 1992 or thereabouts, when the elder Kapoor would have been starring in films like Bol Radha Bol and Shreeman Aashiq, and the younger Kapoor would have been 10-ish.
The photo, presumably taken in the Kapoor living room, has Rishi Kapoor on the phone and an unrecognizable Ranbir sprawled on the floor beside him, legs waving in the air and head bent over comic books.
What is unique in this picture? In my living room,on the left side on the floor,is a young Ranbir reading comics. pic.twitter.com/YCrnGofBrw

Ranbir, now 32, has resolutely ducked out of Twitter sight, except for about 24 hours in January when he logged on to promote a brand he endorses. His father, who rejoined the Twitter party recently after a self-imposed exile of some years, has been furiously making up for lost time ever since.
Ranbir's mother, actress Neetu Singh, is active on photo-sharing site Instagram, on which her son also has an official account.
Ranbir, who was AWOL from the screens all of last year, featured in a supporting role in this year's Roy and stars in the upcoming Bombay Velvet.
