The 64-year-old was diagnosed with leukoderma two years ago and battled it with utmost strength. In her recent post, she remembered the painful time while expressing gratitude towards the medical staff and for the life, she has been blessed with. In the heartbreaking throwback video, we can see three nurses lending support to Nafisa Ali as she walks with a smile. The caption reads, “This was me 2 years ago after my big peritoneal cancer surgery. The doctors, the medical team who cared for me and the hospital were amazing as they gave me courage. Happy and celebrating life today with my super positive family.”
Fans were amazed to witness Nafisa Ali's grace and grit. One of the social media users wrote, “Ma'am, hats off to you...Wishing you good health always.” Someone also termed her rightfully as “brave.” Then came one more comment and it reads, “Keep inspiring. Kudos to your bravery.”
Nafisa Ali, also a social activist, is making the most of the renewed life with her grandson Ayaan. A few days ago, Nafisa uploaded some snaps from her play-time with the little one. Nafisa captioned these adorable photos as, “Just happy being with Ayaan in Delhi.” The cancer survivor was captured carrying Ayaan in her arms, reading him a storybook and also cuddling with him in bed.
